Fog Seal is a specifically designed asphalt emulsion used on an existing “sound” paved road surface.  Following application the pavement will have an up to date surface.  Fog Seals are extremely effective complements to new and aged chip seal surfaces.  The liquid asphalt secures all the cover stone from the chip seal process and locks it into place.  This technique produces a black surface for those that prefer a black road and aids in the prevention of water infiltration.

The applications of fog seals are quickly gaining popularity nationwide.  The procedure is relatively inexpensive and extremely cost effective.
